Minute Steak Recipe

Minute steaks are thinly sliced cuts of beef that cook in literally minutes. All you need for a good minute steak is a bit butter, salt, pepper and garlic, but this recipe uses sautéed onions and peppers to add a bit more finesse to the dish.

  • 1 pack Home Butcher’s minute steak
  • 20 grams butter
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • Salt
  • Pepper

    1. In a skillet, melt the butter and
    1. sautée the onions and peppers until soft and set aside.
    2. Season the beef with a bit of salt and pepper.
    3. Fry the steak in the skillet you used to
  1. sautée the vegetables. The minute steak should cook in under three minutes, but cook until your desired level of doneness is reached.
  2. Just before the steak is done, return the onions and peppers to the pan to heat through.
  3. Serve with chips or tortillas for easy quesadillas.
