Minute Steak Recipe
Minute steaks are thinly sliced cuts of beef that cook in literally minutes. All you need for a good minute steak is a bit butter, salt, pepper and garlic, but this recipe uses sautéed onions and peppers to add a bit more finesse to the dish.
Ingredients:
- 1 pack Home Butcher’s minute steak
- 20 grams butter
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions:
- In a skillet, melt the butter and
- sautée the onions and peppers until soft and set aside.
- Season the beef with a bit of salt and pepper.
- Fry the steak in the skillet you used to
- sautée the vegetables. The minute steak should cook in under three minutes, but cook until your desired level of doneness is reached.
- Just before the steak is done, return the onions and peppers to the pan to heat through.
- Serve with chips or tortillas for easy quesadillas.
